Priorities
Where Ariana stands
Strong communities don’t just happen. They are built by neighbors who show up for one another, and they require a government that does the same. Right now our city is at a crossroads: will we keep building outward, or will we prioritize the neighborhoods we call home?
The Crossroads
What SEDA would cost us
Through the Southeast Development Area (SEDA), elected officials and special interests are rushing a plan to expand our city limits into Southeast Fresno so developers can build new expensive homes. This would stretch police, fire, trash collection, and water services far too thin.
SEDA is profitable for some, but it leaves us with higher service rates, broken streets, struggling parks and schools, abandoned businesses, and dilapidated housing.
“We can’t afford to be a stepping stone for ambitious politicians.”
Many of us are working two or more jobs as utilities and housing costs go up while our income stays the same. We can build thriving parks, more trees, safe routes to school, and homes families can afford, and we don’t have to leave our neighborhood to get it.

How Decisions Get Made
I want you to know where I stand on the issues that matter. My biggest priority is to make public policy decisions alongside residents, so I will host regular neighborhood meetings throughout the district and proactively engage with our schools to make sure I’m hearing directly from you.
